Plot

Beyonders: A World Without Heroes is about Jason, who gets swallowed a hippo(Yes, a hippo), and gets caught inside the world of Lyrian. In Lyrian he meets Rachel. They both try to find the hidden  syllables scattered among people in the realm of Lyrian to defeat the evil wizard Maldor with the help of a few friends. In order to do so, they must put their lives in danger, to duel with men of great strength, and monster sized crabs.
